The team at Verglas were brought together due to our love and passion for IT and cybersecurity, and we want to give this opportunity to other children who may be interested in the industry. We believe that IT is a subject which can be enjoyed by everyone - regardless of background, religion, gender, sexuality or any other factors.

IglooCode™.

IglooCode™ is a Jeopardy-style Capture the Flag competition. Teams are made up of 4 people each, who log onto our custom-made platform to complete as many programming challenges as possible in two hours. We offer a wide range of categories, from Python, C#, HTML and Scratch, to binary, hexidecimal and logic gates.

This event runs annually at Queen's University Belfast, with support from Liberty IT and Kainos. In our inaugural year, we welcomed over 100 students from 16 secondary schools.
